Look unto yourself, you are that one good person😊

As people of goodwill, called to be Pilgrims of Hope in this 2025 Jubilee Year, I call upon all, especially young people of faith - let us respond with bold hope and concrete action to Care for Mother Earth, Our Common Home. 

'Let us join in taking charge of this Home which has been entrusted to us' LS #244. 

Amidst this planetary crisis: #climatechange #biodiversityloss #pollution #desertification #drought ....every effort counts, even the smallest act of Care4Creation is a powerful sign of hope.  I remember during the Zcbc Soccom 2025 ZCBC Plenary Session High Mass: in his homily, Bishop Mupandasekwa poised a question, ' What signs can we bring to our homes, communities, or nation as symbols of hope to the world we are living today?' l'm asking this same question again, but from a faith-based environmental lense..

What signs are you going to choose now?, maybe planting or donating a tree, reducing food waste, refusing plastics, conserving water at home, switching off the lights when not in use, proper disposal of waste, maybe raising your voice for Creation?

Your faith in action matters, together we can join our little efforts to renew the face of the Earth, Our Common Home. 

Remember Jubilee Year, just like in the ancient times - it is a special time of renewal, reconciliation, a time of liberation, and to promote justice and restoration...it goes beyond spiritual:

- it's also a Jubilee for the Earth

- an invitation to hope through action 

- reclaim my/ our role as protectors of God's handiwork 

- a call for integral ecology as part of holiness 

Let now be the best time to rediscover your personal relationship with the Creator and Creation
